When you sign in with GitHub, we collect your GitHub username and profile avatar to identify your account. When you connect Google Drive, we request access to files you explicitly select through the Google Drive file picker.
We do not collect, store, or share your Google Drive files or document contents beyond generating your requested report.
Your GitHub identity is used solely to authenticate you and associate your saved sources and reports with your account. Google Drive access is used only to read file metadata and document text in order to generate AI-powered summaries. No file contents are stored on our servers beyond the generated report text.
We store your GitHub username, avatar URL, saved source identifiers and labels, and generated report text in a secure database. We do not store your Google Drive files, document contents, or Google account credentials.
distillerat_ uses the following third party services: GitHub OAuth for authentication, Google Drive API for document access, and Google Gemini API for AI report generation. Each service is governed by their respective privacy policies.
When generating a report, the text content of your connected documents and repository data is transmitted to Google Gemini API for AI processing. This data is used solely to generate your requested summary and is not retained by distillerat_ beyond the generated report text.
